I already had a Nikon SB-600 and bought a light stand, flash umbrella and some remote control flash controllers through ebay for less than A$150. Today was my first serious attempt with my 2 boys (& wife off-camera) in our living room. The flash was about 1m at 45 degrees right and high. In post processing, I have vignetted the final photo.
