Perspective

Kurnell, Sydney – 10 October 2009
f11 @ 0.5 sec | 24mm

Having an ultra wide lens like my Tokina AT-X Pro SD 12-24mm F4 lets me make small features the main subject of photos

In this example, the whitewash is rushing past this uniquely worn rock which is only about an inch high and a couple of inches wide. However a wide angle perspective can make it appear much larger with the camera up as close to the rock as possible whilst still maintaining focus and depth of field
